Pets In The City an Animal Clinic that Provides Protective Vaccinations to Fit Your Pet’s Lifestyle
Our vaccination program takes into consideration each pet’s age and lifestyle, so only the needed vaccinations are given. Vaccinations, properly given, are extremely important in preventing some very serious and potential diseases from occurring in our pets and in some instances, spreading to humans.
Pet Vaccinations for Dogs
For dogs, vaccines offered are: Rabies (required by law), Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus and Canine Hepatitis. Both Canine Distemper and Parvovirus are commonly encountered and can cause death and severe suffering in unprotected dogs.
Pet Vaccinations for Cats
For cats they are Rabies (required by law), Feline Distemper (Panleucopenia), Rhinotracheitis and Calicivirus. Rhinotracheitis and Calicivirus are two upper respiratory diseases. Feline Distemper or Panleucopenia Virus, is a very severe disease that attacks the cat’s immune system and causes severe gastro-intestinal symptoms and can be deadly, if the cat is not protected.
